• GONAL-f®(follitropin alpha for injection) is used to stimulate the maturation of follicles in ovulating patients undergoing Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), such as in vitrofertilization (IVF). • GONAL-f®is also used to stimulate the maturation of follicles in some patients whose menstrual cycle is either irregular or absent.
Please write the date of first use on the GONAL-f ®pre-filled pen. Once opened, it may be stored for a maximum of 28 days outside of the fridge at room temperature (at or below 25°C). Do not use any medicine left in your pre-filled pen after 28 days. At the end of the treatment any unused solution must be discarded.

I am not a great fan of Gonal F pens . I much prefer having a vial of medication and a normal syringe. That particular problem hasn’t happened to me but didn’t want to read and run. I get prescribed 375 units of Gonal F so often have to use part of my dose from one pen and then the other part from the next pen .
