5/23/2017 · Dad always had Farmalls this John Deere is the only working John Deere I have that is running right now. I do have a John Deere 70 D but it is not like this G . The clutch Fork Bearing and the fork shaft on this G seems to look worn with a lot of play I would say about 2 1/2 inches of play.

10/15/2017 · I have a later mode John Deere A. I have been trying to get the clutch to operate correctly. When I tore it apart due to slipping I thought that it would be an easy fix when I found the threads on adjusting bolts were worn out allowing nuts to move. I replaced clutch adjusting bolts and no luck. I then replaced all fiber discs.
